Same run, different stats

Hi everyone!

Yesterday I went for a quick run with my boyfriend. We both have a fitbit blaze and use strava.

According to my fitbit we ran 3km (connected to my phone). According to his, we ran 3.5km

Also, we ran next to each other the whole time...but my pace was 6,5-7min/km and his was 5-5,5/km...

How can this be if I'm by his side the whole time?

Thanks for your replies and have a nice day !

A warm welcome to the Community @Nymke.

Keep in mind that you won't have the same stats as your boyfriend since Fitbit estimates your information based on your age, gender, height and weight. To have more accurate information you can check this post and follow the instructions provided there to adjust your stride length.

I hope this helps, catch you later. Woman Happy
