I am getting text messages on my fitbit blaze but no calender notifications or phone calls. Also says music is not connected. Is their a fix to this. I have read that the Note 5 is not compatible with fit bit even tho all other Samsung devices are. Is this true?

@ALLYO A warm welcome to the Community! Samsung Galaxy Note 5 isn't a supported device yet. That's the reason why you're not getting calendar or phone notifications. As you mentioned, you're getting text messages. However, I can't confirm this will fully work just because it's not supported.

Thank you for your understanding.

I also have a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and everything is working so far. I can use connected GPS to map the Exercises that support it.

I can also control the music on Amazon Prime Music, which is what I use.

I get all notifications, text, calendar and phone. The Blaze vibrates for each notification.

With texts I can read the content of all texts by scrolling up. The most recent text is shown at the top. The content is in a bubble. Doesn't matter if I get multiple texts from one person. I can still read them all.

Calendar notifications show up with the Title and time it is due. I set a notification reminder in the calendar for testing, as opposed to email. You should be able to set both, but only the notification should come through.

Incoming phone calls show up with the caller name and number if in your contacts. I'm assuming only the number would show, if not in contacts. Accepting, or denying the call is not available. I did notice that calls are not saved in the notifications in the Blaze. Text and Calendar notifications are. Fortunately outgoing calls are not recognized in the Blaze, so no vibration for that.

So far everything seems to be working as expected.

Which messaging program are you using, @Redskinfan

In the phone settings under Sounds and Notifacations , I have it set to show on lock screen

Under the phones default applications Messaging app is set to the App I want to use.

In the Messaging app under its settings notifacations is turned on, and so is auto retrieve.

In the Fitbit app under the Trackers settings, messaging is set for the same messaging app.

This is explained in the main thread. https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Blaze/Blaze-Notifications-Information-Post/td-p/1198545

@Redskinfan A warm welcome to the Community! You may want to check this post from @ErickFitbit there he explains that Samsung Note 5 isn't supported yet because our engineers are testing it but he's using it and it works properly.

@Rich_Laue Thanks for your input Smiley Happy

Let me know how it goes.

Which device did you choose during setup since Note 5 was not an option? I chose Note 4, and everything works EXCEPT for notifications, which I would really like to work!

Thanks for that information.  I was looking to upgrade my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to the Note 5.

Thanks for this information.  I now see conflicting posts as to whether or not it plays well the the Samsung Galaxy Note 5.  I may go ahead and upgrade to it.  Thanks!

I can see if I only get one. As I get lots of them, I rarely see them.
