I am preordering the BLaze and I want to be sure that I have a screen protector for it right away. I have only found one screen protector on ebay that specifically says it is for the Blaze. Would the surge screen protector work?

@inkedrockgirl Hey there, glad to hear you're pre-ordering!

Fitbit doesn't have our own screen protectors, so if you're grabbing one from eBay, you'll have to do so at your own risk.

I'm not entirely sure, but let me know if you grab one and how it works out!

Like @EmersonFitbit said Fitbit doesn't make screen protectors. The one you are ordering is from a 3rd party and may or may not actually fit properly.

I just got my blaze and had an extra Surge screen protector...and am using that. It doesn't cover the Blaze screen completely, but I feel like it is enough to protect it! Hope that helps : )

I was worried about the same thing.  Screen protection.  I verified with Fitbit that the screen is Gorilla Glass 3.  You don't need a screen protector.

You know the Blaze screen is gorilla glass 3 right?

Day 7 and mine is already scratched 😞

Best Answer

How?  I've tried scratching mine and it won't.

Not sure what I scratched it on but something as simple as adjusting the seat in my van rakes the screen against the plastic of my vehicle when reaching in between the seat and my door. Like I said, I'm not sure but I have one long vertical scratch over 1/2 way down the screen.

I really like how that looks on the fitbit. It looks like all the packages are the same the only difference is how many you get in a pack. How does it hold up with fingerprints? Do they hold on the protector or not so much?

@AshleyLYes, package on different packs. I got 6 packs.Actually fingerprints is everywhere, what we can do is using protector to apart it from real screen, it did so.

Oh ok. Yeah i went to that lin k on amazon and ordered the 6 pack as well.
It had a 5 star review and everyone seems to love it. The fingerprints i
guess are something we just have to deal with. Wipe it off when it gets too
bad.

I bought the IQ Shield matte protector. It comes in a six-pack. Easy installation and resists fingerprints very well.

Thanks for your input.  I purchased a 6 pack and watched the video before applying.  My first attempt was unsuccessful since I could not get all the bubbles out.  I watched the video again and realized that when applying the protector you need to push down starting in the middle and then  work out toward the edges. When I did it the first time I kind of rubbed the screen protector thinking I could get out all the bubbles which didn't work.  My second attempt was successful and you are right it looks great.  Thanks again.

@Visualtps Thanks for your experience share, I will apply, push down starting in the middle then towards the edge as you said for the rests. On received the items, I was very confused on operating, luckily the seller's video directed me, it even has text steps.Love the seller, so thoughtful!!!
