I have recently upgraded from Fitbit Alta to a Fitbit Blaze. I am finding the Blaze a lot more accurate as I weight train, spin and cardio works out 6 times a week. I have struggled to loose weight in the past year or so and the same thing keeps getting said to me "you're not eating enough".
The last few weeks my Blaze has told be, based on heart rate I am burning on average 2,500 calories a day, I am a 5 ft 3 female. I have recently linked my Fitbit app with MFP and am logging my food consumption through MFP and exercise through Fitbit.
My question is what should I set as my calorie goal daily to lose weight? Yesterday for example I have sent my calorie target as 1,200, I exercised off 744 calories and consumed 1,784 with a surplus of 160. I have recently had a bodytrax scan and it has told me my BMR is 1,602, not sure what this has to do with what I actually consume and how it affects it. Will I lose weight or am I still not eating enough to fuel my exercise?
Advice on setting my calorie target would be helpful.
Thank you

A warm welcome to the Community @GingerKatie.
If you want to set your correct weight goal, I recommend doing the following from your Fitbit app:
Keep in mind that you need to set weight goal regarding your body information. Also, as you can see, you will be asked if you want to lose, gain or maintain your weight, if you want to lose just make sure of selecting the correct option.
Let me know the outcome.
