@faithg12  What kind of phone are you using?  Post it here and perhaps that way someone can help.  Also have you made sure your phone is listed as compatible?

Welcome to the Community @faithg12. First, I recommend checking if your phone is a Compatible Mobile Device. If it is, follow the Setup Troubleshoot directly from your Android phone. If it doesn't work, try from your Computer.

I hope this helps, let me know the outcome. Woman Happy

I checked ahead of time, my Samsung Galaxy 6 is listed as compatible.  When I set up my Blaze last night though, a message came up saying if my phone had been upgraded to Android Marshmellow (which it has) the tracker might not be compatible.  It took 90 minutes to download the FitBit software/set up my Blaze!  I almost gave up!  But it worked, and connected.  Today everything appears to be working as it should be.

The biggest change in Marshmellow,  and it was changed on the Andtoid end not fitbits, is that location must be turned on for the Fitbit to sync.  Fortunately app is smart enough to remind us to turn location on.

If it makes you feel better you are not alone. It took me about an hour and a half before giving up for the evening and charging my blaze overnight. The next day it took me another hour and I still was unable to setup the blaze for the first time using the windows 10 app. I ended up having to call support and getting it linked with my android phone. After that it would not sync, so another hour of fiddling and I ultimately ended up uninstalling the Windows 10 app and relinking the blaze to my account. So overall it took almost a full 24 hours to get it all up and running.

@fudge22 you have great patience!  But goes to show, I think many people give up and send back FitBits that have nothing wrong with them (not that it should be so difficult to get them set up...but we all have different phones, etc..).  Enjoy your new Blaze!

With all the issues people are having with the windows 10 app I wonder why they even released it in the first place.

And I agree, a lot of people send back their fitbits or replace them because the setup is a difficult process for the blaze. But the replacement they get is probably refurbished anyways, so it's better to just try and make it work the first time around.
