Silent alerts

I upgraded from the charge HR to the blaze last night. I am very disappointed with the intensity of the silent alarms. I do not see if solution posted. This may end up being a deal-breaker I like the idea of the Blaze, however if I cannot feel it going off on my wrist it is just not going to work for me. One of the reviewers on YouTube had led me to believe the alerts were problematic for him. This gentleman must be very sensitive because I can hardly feel it I've turned it around so the tractor is on the inside of the wrist hopefully this may help. Any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Hello and welcome to the forums @JC63011

I've had the Charge, ChargeHR and Flex as well as the Blaze. This afternoon I set a series of alarms so I could see what you were talking about with their intensity. While I can feel it, the Flex and ChargeHR had more powerful alarms.

Setting it so I can see how it works in the morning when I'm more asleep than awake. Earlier when the alarms went off, I was awake, so possibly more aware that it was vibrating.

I'll let you know.

I totally agree.  The vibrations aren't strong enough and, due to the build of the physical buttons on the metal, actually cause loud rattling.  I had a Surge, went to Apple Watch (hated it), and just got the Blaze (love it).  Very disappointed in the vibration strength of the Blaze compared to the other two.  Could be due to the size of the motor fitting in such a slim design?  Certainly not a deal breaker for me but something that needs to be addressed and corrected since Fitbit advertises notifications as a top selling point for the Blaze.

@JC63011 This morning my alarm went off and it's not as strong as the other Fitbits I've had. It was enough to wake me, but not enough to make me turn it off. With the Flex and ChargeHR, it was intensive enough that I got out of bed.

I'm not sure if others have this problem, but this evening I'm going to restart the Blaze and see if that makes any difference.

@meanllama, actually the ChargeHR and Flex sort of rattled, too. When a person lost a Flex in the house, they could often set a silent alarm and the rattle alone would help them locate it.

Pretty sure Fitbit will address all our concerns, since they have always been good about helping us.

I have exactly the same experience as JC63011.

Changing from Charge HR to Blaze I have found the intensity of the silent alarms so much weaker that I have actually overslept a few times.

FitBit has to change the firmware to intensify the alarms (if possible) or have longer alarms.
