Simplified sleep details

For about a week, I've been receiving simplified sleep details.  I had read that there was an issue in early September that Fitbit was trying to fix with Sleep Stages.  Does anyone know if this is still ongoing?  Thanks for any help.

It's great to welcome you @ajpan82, thanks for taking the time searching for this issue.

Have you checked if your app is updated? If you haven't, I recommend taking a look at the How do I update the Fitbit app for iOS? post and follow the instructions provided there. Also, in this post, our friend @FerdinandFitbit is providing more information about the sleep stages feature.

Let me know the outcome. Woman Happy

I am having the same issue, and yes my app was updated on October 1, with no other updates pending.

Hi Alejandra,

Thanks for getting back to me.  Yes, the app was updated on October 2nd.  Oddly enough, the sleep stages worked properly that night, but last night it went back to basic.

I've rebooted my Blaze several times and have tried wearing the watch a little higher on my arm (which were some of the steps to try to get a better read).  I'm not really sure what else to try.  Thanks for any help you can give.

I’m only getting simplified stages too, however my wife gets the full readings from her charge 2.

This happened to me about a month ago as well. When I called Fitbit They told me that it was a glitch in the application and they were aware of it the message that it was in glitch was buried in a blog somewhere.

Hey there @kkistinger, welcome. @Kieron_j and @ajpan82 thanks for participating.

As mentioned by our friend, this is some issue that our team is aware of and is working on it, your patience will be much appreciated. In the meantime, the link I provided in my previous post can help since there are the requirements that this feature needs to show your correct information.

See you around. Woman Wink

Out of interest @ajpan82 are you telling the app via  the sleep tile that you are going to sleep?

It’s a month later, and I’m experiencing this now as well. I’ve had my Alta HR for about a month...sleep stages worked great for three weeks and for the last week, no details. Nothing has changed in how I’m wearing it and my sleep patterns are about the same.

I’ve seen this same complaint over the last several months and there are reports that it’s fixed, then reports that it isn’t. The sleep cycle tracking was the reason I bought this product (I’m a marathon runner) and I’m feeling a bit ripped off now.

I am running the latest version of Fitbit Dashboard and when I check my sleep patterns for a time period, it shows either Sleep Quality or Sleep Stages. I prefer Sleep Stages. Is this the problem the community is having and Fitbit is trying to correct or am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to get it to display only sleep Stages?
