My Blaze stopped tracking my sleep 9 days ago. How do I get it to track sleep again?

Hey there @Pdc7777. Great to see you in the Community Forums! 🙂

I'd like to know... Is your Blaze not tracking your sleep at all or is it just not recording Sleep Stages but you're able to see your sleep pattern during the night?

If you're seeing Sleep Patterns instead of the Sleep Stages, there are a few scenarios where you might see this (which shows your time asleep, restless, and awake) instead of sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed).
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

Keep this in mind to ensure that your tracker will perform optimally during the night and anything else you may need, I'm here to help!

It is not tracking at all - nothing changed in where I wear it or my sleep. It just stopped tracking. I will push it up away from my wrist tonight and see.

If my Blaze tracks my sleep until I wake up at 3:00am but I fall back asleep and it doesn't track any thing else, would that be because I didn't sleep 3 hours after I fell back asleep?  I only slept 2 more hours. Just wonderiing.
