Hi since Aug 21st my Blaze no longer records my sleep or any active minutes. I work out 3-4 time a week and showing 0 active minutes every day. What can I do?

Hi there @SunsetRunner.  Great to see you in the Community Forums!

I'm sorry you're having problems with your sleep and active minutes not showing up on your dashboard 😕 We were having some issues with sleep not appearing correctly so this might be the reason why.

In the meantime, I can suggest restarting your tracker if you haven't done this. You can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot.

Also, if instead of sleep stages you're seeing the old sleep patterns (which shows your time asleep, restless, and awake), there are a few scenarios where this will happen:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your tracker from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your tracker higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your tracker to bed).
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your tracker’s battery is critically low.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need more help with this!

My Blaze did noting last night after I thought it was finally fixed. Wasn't too tight or loose. Everything same as always. Rebooted it this morning. But then I did that the last time. Hoping it works tonight.

I noticed the same thing happening to me after August 25th, no sleep data at all. Reset the blaze this morning, hopefully it will be fixed tonight.

I reset my Blaze and the sleep and active minutes seem to have worked the last 2 days but my HR also hasn't worked since 21st Aug and I didn't realise this until I checked it. This however has not worked since rebooting twice. It just shows 2 dashes (--) and no figures at all!

No luck so far. I manually set the sensitivity to 'sensitive' for sleep tracking, shutdown and restarted the blaze, tried wearing it on the other wrist, so far nothing seems to be working to get it to auto-track sleep for me 😞
