Sleep not working all night

Hi- I bought my blaze a week ago. The first several days everything worked great. I was concerned bc my blaze battery began to drain much more quickly after full charge. Yesterday it was critically low but I recharged before sleep. Went to bed around 10:30 and woke at 7. Blaze and app tracked my sleep Til 5am (odd- I was in bed Til 7am).

Concerned that hat this is happening and considering returning my blaze if this is an error with my blaze? I got this one bc of upgraded sleep tracking and not sure why this is happening? Any help appreciated.

Hi there @AD77. Welcome to the Community Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry you're having problems with your Blaze not recording your sleep correctly 😕

There are a few scenarios where you might see your sleep pattern (which shows your time asleep, restless, and awake) instead of sleep stages or that could cause your tracker not to record your sleep at all:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your tracker from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your tracker higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your tracker to bed).
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your tracker’s battery is critically low.

Keep these things in mind when going to sleep to ensure you will see your sleep records on your dashboard. Anything else, I'm here to help!
