Stair Counter on Blaze

Up to last week I would typically get 10 - 20 flights of stairs a day which I considered accurate.  Last week on June 16 I was on a walk in the neighourhood and didn't climb any stairs and got a note from Fitbit congratulating me on reaching the 250 flights of stairs in one day.  5 minutes later I was notified I have done 300 flights of stairs and now every day I am being reported doing 140 to 250 flights of stairs per day which is no where near accurate.  Anyone else seen this?

How windy was it @Ted_F? did you have any fast approaching storms that may have caused a fall in the barometer?

Both could give excessive step counts?

No it was a warm day but no storm.  Ever since that day, if i go on a walk I end up with between 200 and 300 flights of stairs for the day.

I'm getting the same ridiculous results.  Calm day, with hundreds of extra floors.  I'd like to think I'm all that, but this is bull**ahem**.  And no help from Fitbit.

Glad to see I am not the only one climbing these 300+ flights of stairs per day.  Supports solution was to remove the Floor counter from my watch and gave me steps on how to do that, but that didn't work for me either. I will just ignore my floor counter.

I took one set of advice and yesterday deleted the app, rebooted my watch and phone, then reinstalled the app. Today it’s counting correctly. I’m hopeful.

Good luck!
