I just bought my new Blaze. Wore it for two days. Yesterday i spent about and hour and a half on a riding lawn mower and it said I logged over 300 steps. I am a bus driver by trade so i bought this so be able to know when I need to get more active during the day. Today, driving the bus for about 8 hours, it logged 6,000 steps. I wear it on my right wrist and am left handed. I had it set up to non-dominant hand but just changed it to dominant. Any other thoughts on how to make it not count driving as steps?

Welcome to the Community @Jarheadbpa! I appreciate the details that you've mentioned. Our engineers have worked diligently on your tracker's algorithms to make sure that it does not pick up false steps or activity recordings while in a car. Unless you are driving in a car with a stiff transmission or on back country roads, your tracker should not give you credit for any work that you don't do.
You can always delete the extra steps, by logging driving as an activity in your Dashboard.
Hope this helps. Thanks for your understanding.

This is absolutely not a solution. I just got the fitbit charge 2 this morning and it recorded 400 or steps while I was driving. Your algorithm is obviously not doing its job and needs to be fixed. The step tracker could be disabled once the fitbit records you are moving more than 5mph or something. Other apps have this feature
Or at the least you need to have a "driving Mode" button on the fitbit or app that you can easily activate.
Going in after the fact and recording certain times that you were driving is very clumsy and cumbersome. I can't believe fitbit actually thinks that is a solution.
I am returning this fitbit asap as this degree of inaccuracy is useless.

Unfortunately the tracker is unable to detect the speed, and 400 steps while driving would hardly be detected at going 5 miles per hour. Yes tyere are apps that detect driving, but not all fotbit users have phones.
