Step count waaaaayyy off.. Why??

I just walked for 4.5 miles and my Fitbit only logged 2800 steps. Obviously that's way low. I adjusted my stride length a couple weeks ago, so now it's correct. My mom seems to think that it doesn't log steps unless I'm swinging my arms while I walk. Is that true?! I'm pushing a double stroller and unable to swing my arms.

Pushing the stroller could be part of it, but the Blaze is also having issues since the last frimware update correctly counting steps.

Hey K-Got....congrats on being an active mom......see how many steps it records for a 1 mile or 1/4 mile.
