I was working out (running). I looked down my my watch to press pause and the screen was completely black. I pressed the button, nothing happened. I got home put it on the charger and nothing. What do I do?

Sorry to hear that your tracker is not responding though 😕
As @Ozzie65 says, this is not an expected behavior... Is your tracker still syncing to your dashboard even if it's not lighting up? Have you tried by any chance to restart your tracker? If not, I can recommend doing this. You can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot and hopefully to come back on again.
