My Blaze starting acting up, screens jumpy, sleep tracking not working etc. Called Square Trade (Device 18 months old), sent it to them and they repaired it with a new 'main board." Tracked sleep one night then started its old issue with no detail showing etc. What follows is the test I tried that has worked splendidly.
Plugged Fitbit in at 6pm and gave it a full 2 hour charge. This would eliminate low battery as the issue.
Secondly, I moved it 2-3 finders up my arm. During daytime wear there are 3 holes showing above the clasp. I left this alone and simply pushed the fitbit away from the wrist and it tightened enough to be more secure.
Voila, it has worked perfect since, with great sleep detail.
Conclusion, at this point I am more inclined to think the position is more important than the battery. Often, I just put the firbit in the charging dock to top it off a bit before bedtime. Guess - 75% and above is good level.
Hope this helps.

Sleep tracking totally dead. After trying every combination with position on wrist, battery strength, strap tightness, rebooting, I'm giving up. If it is this tedious to "try" to get it to work, I'll pass. If I can't just go to bed and have it work, I'll pass again.
I will fall back on what has worked for most of my 73 years: if I wake up feeling good, I got enough sleep. If I don't feel as spry, maybe I didn't get enough sleep.
Most brands of these devices seem to have some sleep tracking issues, but I will likely try a different brand next time.
