Sync problem

Hi i have a blaze and and Android Samsung J 5 phone and can't get it to sync with the phone. It was working fine till Thursday and hasn't updated since. It's saying can't find tracker. I keep going to settings to ensure Bluetooth is saying pair but everytime I go back to it it is saying off. Could this be the problem?

Hi, @Lou1978, if you are having problems syncing often toggling BT off on your phone, waiting a moment, and then toggling it back on again sorts this out.  Sometimes you may need to turn your phone off completely and then on again.

If that doesn't work, a restart of your Fitbit is the next thing to try.

If you still aren't syncing, try setting up your tracker as a replacement tracker.  This will not affect your data.  Do not remove your tracker from your account first.

I hope this helps.  Keep us posted.  Welcome to the Community!

It's great to welcome you @Lou1978 and @Julia_G thanks for stopping by.

Keep in mind that you need to have a compatible phone in order for your tracker to work properly. In this case, Samsung Galaxy J5 is not a compatible mobile device. You can try to follow the instructions provided in the Having trouble syncing? post but I don't guarantee it will connect to your phone as expected. Also, at the moment of syncing try to turn on your bluetooth and location.

Let me know the outcome. Woman Happy
