fitbit.com/setup message

When I put it on and shut it logo pops on then on the bottom it says fitbit.com/setup then goes blank. I tried to setup with phone and computer but it says it won't update because battery is dead. I don't see a battery icon unless I start pushing buttons. Can someone please help me figure out how to charge it?

Hello @SunsetRunner, you follow the steps found at http://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1799/ to charge your tracker

 

You are correct in that there will not be any charging icon until.the tracker is setup. If you feel a vibration when connecting the tracker to power, then it is charging
