Syncing with iMac

Blaze was paired with iMac. Today it says "Device not paired", and none of my stats go to the desktop. Blaze is paired with iPhone 6. How do I get it to return to pairing with my iMac.

Thank you.

A warm welcome to the Community @Jetreal. If you are seeing a message that your tracker is not paired, I recommend verifying this by going to your Fitbit app. If you don't see the tracker's icon in the upper right corner it means that it is not paired.

To set it up, please do the following from your iPhone:

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue.

After setting up your Blaze, you will be able to sync it with your phone and iMac.

Let me know the outcome. Woman Happy

If your phone is to close the tracker may still be bonded to the phone and preventing communication with the Mac. In this case you may need to turn the phones Bluetooth off so the Mac can sync.

THE iPhone  ACCOUNT RESPONSE SAYS There is a fitbit Blaze already connected to this account.

I have a fitbit blaze. I was told that you cannot synch it with an iMac but can sync it with a smartphone.

It does sync with my I Phone

Can anyone advise me how to sync the FitBit Blaze to an IMAC

Thank you,

Use FITBIT CONNECT and turn off Bluetooth on your iPhone. After the sync , activate your iPhone Bluetooth. If I happen to let my Blaze charge die, I have to do all of the above again . Even install Fitbit Connect again.

Yu will also have to make sure that the Blaze is not connected to the phone. The easiest way to do this is by turning the phones Bluetooth off.

However in the imac you access the Fitbit fat through the web based dashboard.

A sync simply sends the data to the Fitbit server, this allows a user to sync through the phone then use the imax web browser to view the data. There is no need to sync again if the phone just did a sync

It works with nI Phone but was told by Apple that the Mac has a different operating system and thus won't pare with it. Previously I had a Fit Bit which was replaced that did pare with my iMac. My q8estion is did your work with your iMac. If so, ho0w did you get it to work,

Thank you,
