Text notifications on Fitbit blaze

I have a Fitbit blaze. Had it about a week. It works great most of the time but now it has started not giving me text notifications. I have it synced (I have an iPhone 6s) but now it will only vibrate if I'm using my phone. I leave the Fitbit app going in the background but if I set my phone down it doesn't notify me now

same, had the charge HR loved it. just got the blaze yesterday. got maybe 5 text notifications today, started charging my phone & the text notifications stopped coming through. still not getting them. came on here to see if i could get any answers but didn't see much. i am gonna try shutting the blaze down in the setting options & turning it back on.

Welcome to the Forums @katesblaze and @Jerrysfitblaze. If you are having problems receiving notifications, I recommend following the instructions in our My tracker isn't receiving notifications post. After those steps your Blaze should work as it should.

I have an Android phone and a rather cheap one at that.  For mine to work I have to run the notification service.

1. Open app

2. Select "Blaze"

3. Select "Call and Text notifications"

4. "Enable notification widget"

 

If I don't have the widget running...txt alerts don't work.  I'm sure it's not like this on all devices, but my device is so low end it seems I must have it running to work...

I just got my blaze today and have gotten on the blaze only one of about 10 text messages that has come through on my phone (iphone 6 plus). I have an iphone, notifications are on, turned on in app, followed the instructions here, tried resetting, disconnecting bluetooth, etc. etc.

 

Anyone have any alternative solutions that worked?
