With the Blaze's versatility of being a removable module, I'd really like to see some third party developers get creative with an assortment of different bands/frames, or maybe even different types of housing for the blaze (like something that's just a clip if you didn't want to wear it on your wrist). Did anyone see/hear of anything like this? The only accessories I can find right now are the ones made by Fitbit, which surprises me. I'd really like to find a canvas band, or one that has a frame that is some color other than silver (like black or gold).

Ouch @Fands It doesn't take me that long but I agree it's not easy. I've already lost one pin. So now I have to be really careful. I'm pretty sure it's in the vacuum cleaner by now. I am looking forward to having additional frames so I don't have to change them at all. But that price needs to come way down and I'd prefer black for at least one replacement frame. I have the three colors available in the bands and I like them all.

I ordered one of the frames from Amazon for $36, I will post pictures and review of how the bands and the tracker fit into it, but it is coming from China like everything else 😞

I find these metal bands about about 5 seconds to install on each side. The River Fitbit One I can change in less than as minute. You just have to align it.

I find the easiest way for me to replace the band is to first pop the Blaze out of the frame. I start with the loop side on the bottom for bands that have one. I use tweezers to grab the the little knob to retract the pin. Only takes a few minutes.

ok tell me what i am doing wrong...I have nails (i do not want to ruin my gel manicure but my fingers are SORE from trying). Yesterday i got the black mesh into the frame and wore it. Today we were going out for Easter and i thought the rose gold mesh would look nice....I gave myself an hour to accomplish this.
HAH!!! no go, i wore my other watch to dinner at 230pm...i have breathed and mumbled every word in the book...I can do the single side in 30 seconds. the double loop side (which i do first) is IMPOSSIBLE for me today. i popped the watch out always...lay the frame on a white paper towel so i can see all the pins (they tend to blend with my countertop) put on the flood lights in the kitchen and cannot align it one side works but the top part where the notch is is not going today. I laid it flat, held it sideways, switched pins, laid the magnet bracelet flat, nothing works...it's not the hardware because i had them both done yesterday, it's me... i can retract the pin no issue, but getting it to stay is a no go. i must have tried it over a thousand times. I am back to the old plum rubber one for now.
i tried again when i got home and this is just an exercise in futility. if i spend all this time fiddling with the bands, i won't have time to exercise! i am taking it to the jeweler tomorrow because i need a battery for my real watch. as i said i ordered the frame and housing with the silver loop. when someone gets the frame alone, please let us know if it is a proper fit.
i swear if fitbit made a mesh bracelet and black frame i would but it NOW, i am that frustrated.

Sounds like you should just buy the extra frame on Amazon for $36 and leave that one in there.

I bought the metal band from the seller above. It works perfectly and looks nice; however, it would be nice to have an extra frame. Mine came with four pins total, and the first two I tried worked out perfectly.

update on my saga...(snork).
i went to the local jeweler to replace a watch battery for my real watch/watch. i asked them to change the wristband for me to the rose gold. the one saleslady (who is one of the owners) did it right in front of me..with a pair of tweezers, first try click she checked it by pulling. She did it from the opposite end! not the little nub thing, she didn't even put her glasses on. She could not believe that this was a fitbit, she wants to buy one for herself, she likes to run/walk.
i am waiting on the silver mesh milanese attached to the frame, it should be delivered today, i hope the frame is a good fit. whoever answers the questions on that site said that they have more frames coming, so i am hoping for a nice black one too (i think like a laquer would look good but i don't know what material they would use, it would look too flimsy/tacky in plastic.
thank you again for everyone's help, i appreciate it.

I am new to this community - just got my Blaze yesterday. Has anyone seen this:
I am so tempted, because it has the housing too. But 50 bucks? Hmmmm
An item like this would make it so easy to switch bands and looks. I dont want to fool around with changing the band....I have fingernails and not much patience.
Thanks for the help!

I purchased this band and it came yesterday, it is a perfect fit and well worth the $$, if they have other colors, i will also purchase, takes away all the time/energy involved in performing surgery on the band replacement.

Yes, it is mentioned here in a third-party frame thread:

I wish more colors would be available with the frame from the third party, but I have a the $36 frame from Amazon coming to me right now, sadly from China so it will be next week at the earliest.

I agree, the lack of colors with the frame stinks right now, but give it time and there will be many more soon I have no doubt. For those looking for just a frame for your new bands/loops, here is the cheapest currently on Amazon. I did order this one, it is coming from China though.

This seller is a $1 more, they have some silicone bands that don't require a frame as well, pretty hideous looking but I guess it serves a purpose:

i did send question to the seller asking for different frame colors (especially black)and band colors with frame attached.
if/when they answer I will post about it.
the silicon frames and bands would probably be good to protect the edges during a heavy workout. someone posted that they had chipped the edge of thier watch

so my bands finally came in but i guess the pictures that i took are too big to post, but anyways i bought a brown leather one and a silver metal one that i posted before. And i got to say, i love them both. I got them both for $18 and with free shipping, did take 3 weeks to get here but totally worth it.

it's a good buy, i wore mine today...the double loop is at the top.
i noticed on tv the other day (Today Show) that one of the hosts had on the SAME ONE...it looked good on her too, but if it was an apple or a Blaze i could not tell the difference. i stood right in front of my tv to look at it close. (i cant pinch the tv screen like a tablet).
i also broke down and ordered the frame only it should be here in about 3 weeks. then i can keep 3 to switch as i like. I do prefer the mesh because the stainless does not irritate my skin, the rubber/latex that came the the blaze gets hot especially sleeping and i would wake up scratching my inner wrist area.

i got this one...
says it's leather... but it said PU leather. it kinda had the smell when i opened it. took about 2 weeks to get.
i like it, i had trouble with the original rubber band as there's a lot of space in between the band and my wrist. The leather band does a nicer job of keeping it closer to my wrist. i've had it about a week now, and i havent had any problems with it, still looks good and hey.. its like $8

thanks for that find. i saw similiar ones for $20-something.
it says large.. my wrist is pretty small... wonder if it would work?
