Third-Party Bands?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

With the Blaze's versatility of being a removable module, I'd really like to see some third party developers get creative with an assortment of different bands/frames, or maybe even different types of housing for the blaze (like something that's just a clip if you didn't want to wear it on your wrist). Did anyone see/hear of anything like this? The only accessories I can find right now are the ones made by Fitbit, which surprises me. I'd really like to find a canvas band, or one that has a frame that is some color other than silver (like black or gold).

The Vetoo bands actually work with the Blaze? Even though it's not listed as a compatible watch?

I am really interested how the magnetic bands work in day to day and workout sessions. As soon as you can please post your results. Thanks

At the moment, it is no longer Prime and says delivery is April 14th - May 2nd . So I guess they've run out even though it says "In Stock".

I've had mine fore about a week. Absolutely no concerns with it falling
off. Very strong magnet. 🙂

I don't see a problem with the magnet and found it easier to put on them the rubber ones

I have no idea about the price changes. I paid $22+ for mine, down from $32+, so I was glad to get them at that price. I just ordered the silver (thanks for the heads up on that price drop) and am paying the $.50 shipping since they are no longer listed as Prime eligible, and won't be delivered until April--we must have depleted their inventory!

Anyway, I just re-attached the band, switching it around so that the clasp is not visible to me, and it switched in a snap. So my first experience was probably not typical.

The potential disadvantage I can see with switching it around is that the clasp will likely be more easily caught on things and flip open. So if it's going to happen, this will be the way. I don't see a problem at all with it, though. I have been purposely trying to snag it on things and the magnet is holding strong.

@nlmuxHa! I felt the same way about the black. It is by far my favorite of the three! I was on the fence about the Rose Gold and I like it too. None of them look that great in the box.

the black is very nice too--i might try that if i can manuever the band changing, i would love a couple of extra frames, but not at $55.00 for what it is a small frame of stainless?....I am hoping that they will do that blue mesh that i saw a picture of.  Has anyone reported on the leather bands that are from another seller?

i am looking forward to getting mine tomorrow.

Definitely not a fan of the band changing. If you have no fingernails and the kind of eyesight where you lift your glasses up and down it'll make you want to wear the same band for at least a week. However, I will NOT pay the $50 something for the frame either.

i will keep an eye out for any frames that look reasonable and sturdy.

Definitely keep a lookout for black frames. With the black "milanese loop" band, that would look awesome!

Honestly, I can't believe Fitbit didn't release additional frames of their own. Would have made sense to at least give us black and gold options in addition to the silver!

it is someone follow Oitom listing, you can see the seller called Omita..Omita,not Oitom...provide fake band with cheap price...and shipping from china, not prima service.

I ask Oitom team, and be told the price droping because of compititon of followers, for BUY BOX,now they already get Oitom brand registered, and will kick out the follower soon.at that time, price will be stable

Anyhow 12-14$ is worth to test

For anyone interested, I just bought a magnetic wrist band from the seller below since Oitom doesn't ship to Greece.

Oitom said that theirs are made in China as well.....so I think ALL are made there, it is just a matter of where they ship from, and possible QA if that actually exists in China 🙂

This is made and shipping from China as well.  I look forward to your review since they have some great colors!

The Omita seller on Amazon has some great looking Leather Magnetic bands!

@SofiG Looks like the sizing on that one is extra large. Love all the colors though.

@KGJFit   I saw that before ordering but I think I am still within limits (17cm min wrist size). I will post a picture here when I receive it!

So they are afraid of a lirtle competition,  since they both are made in China, it probably is their supplier selling them.  Could Oitom have forgotten about patients?

I bouught this SS magnetic band for my blaze and was initially impressed.  For me, the magnet was not the concern.  3 different times the pins came out and the Blaze fell off.  Fortunately no harm.  The width of the band is slightly smaller and the extra space causes the pins to come out.  Went back to original band 😞
