Totaling steps from all devices

When I go out for a run I use another brand sport watch for the extra functions it offers. When it syncs to my phone, my fitbit dashboard sees the activity as only "active minutes" but will not add the steps. Is there a way to get it to put up my steps total on my dashboard? My friends are all beating me in steps each week!

Hi @cjack1397.  Welcome to the Fitbit forums.

I don't quite understand your situation.

Are you saying that you do not wear your Blaze for the run but it still gives you active minutes?

And you say "when it syncs to my phone", and it sound like you mean your other brand watch is syncing to your phone Fitbit app.

Neither of those cases seem possible.

In any case, why not just wear both trackers on either wrist, one to count on Fitbit, and the other for you running extra functions?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Also not knowing the brand of your other tracker some of them can be linked to fitbit so it will show the steps

Check here:

Also some are not listed on the page but might be listed on the device page you use
