Tracking workouts

I recently purchased a Fitbit blaze, wondering what the best way is to track my workouts.  I have been choosing workout and setting the timer, however not sure this is accurately reflecting.  My workouts combine weights and cardio in 30 second intervals.  What is the difference between the weights and workout option?

Hi, @Jillryan04, there is no real difference in terms of what the Fitbit records.  In both cases it is just a time stamp that puts your Blaze into exercise mode (and also means your HR is sampled more frequently).  So it doesn't matter which you choose.

The advantage of "workout" is that it is designed to be renamed if you want.  If you create a "custom activity" (must be done in the web-based log but then will be available in your app as well).  So you could track a "workout" and then rename it "Cardio and weights" or "Gym session" or anything you want.  Or you could just leave it as workout.

Sense, Charge 5, Inspire 2; iOS and Android
