Trouble syncing after firmware update

Major issues after latest firmware update.  I have tried several of the things mentioned to no avail.  Shouldn't have this much trouble!!!  Fitbit won't sync, notifications not working, etc

Was one of the things you tried a restart of the fitbit using the following procedure?

If so, how many times did you try it? It's known to not always work so it's worth trying this a few times.

Using DTEK 60, Android 6. Blaze was doing everything it was supposed to do before the update. Issues I have now:

1. Restart by pressing two buttons on the right together. Does nothing. Won't restart.

2. Bluetooth Classic won't pair. Most attempts return error message and when a number does appear returns error message.

3. No longer receives text message and email. Only Facebook messages. Yes I checked all the apps I wanted synced.

And yes I tried turning both devices off and on. Also removed device from the phone and then did a re-install.

Ahh, got the restart. You have to press all three buttons.

OK, I got the Blaze Classic paired to my phone. However, I am no longer able to see the simple Blaze in the list of devices. I am not getting text messages. So no notification. The phone syncs to the Blaze. Nothing should be this difficult. Anyone have any suggestions.

@SunsetRunner only the left and lower right are needed. 

Have you synced the tracker, is notifications turned on, can you send a test notification thorough the app, 

And the most important question, what phone is the trouble on? Can't help fix a phone problem without this info.

Yes to all of these.

This info was at the beginning of my message. DTEK 60 and os is Android 6. I don't now if you can help since the phone is not in your list of phones. All I know is that it was working before the update. The notifications I do receive are from various apps, not all and I rechecked which apps were on. It worked for a while yesterday and then stopped. I did a restart on both this morning and tried again. I give up.
