Hi all.
I upgraded phones last week and in doing so, my app asked me for my password so I could sych to my Blaze. After trying a few normal passwords that I use, I realized that I don't know it and I need to have my password reset. Then I realized that the emaill addy that I used to set up the account has a typo:
james.froehlich@xxxxx.xxx
It should have been
jamesfroehlich@xxxxx.xxx
So essentially, I need to to ask support to change my email to the correct one and then send me a password reset.
Is that doable?
Thanks in advance,
Jim

A lot of email servers such as Yahoo, Google ignore the period and treat it as the same address.
If you have been getting the weakly reports from fitbit, I would use the forget password and type it in with the period.. Then you can go to your settings page. This really should work.

Welcome to the community!
You seem to currently have access to your account at least from the website. Have you tried simply updating the e-mail from your settings page, first?
Then you may be able to send yourself a reminder e-mail.
I hope this helps.

I tried to do this because I did the same thing. Problem is, they send the "wrong" email address a code you need to update the correct address. Any other ideas? Their help line puts you on hold forever, I tried the chat, there were 93 in line, when it got to 20 it kicked me out and they haven't responded to their email support. Worst support ever!!

was wondering if you ever got a resolution. I am having the same problem. I added the correct email and I am logged on with it here but I still wanted to get into the old account since my of the data is on the old one so I can update the correct email.
thanks
