Hey there, 

 

I'm currently wanting to upgrade from the fitbit blaze to either a versa or a surge. However, I'm worried about losing my data. 

If I just use the same account and add new fitbit, will I still keep everything?

Any information would be great, thanks.

Once you complete a sync, everything is in the cloud under your account.  When you add a new device to the same account, all data will still be there, independent of which tracker it came from.

 

The Surge has been discontinued for a while.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I thought it would be alright, but decided to double check. 

Also, I guess that makes the decision of which one to get.
