I purchased a used Blaze from a coworker to add as an additional Fitbit to my Ionic, I like the less bulky look for work. My issue is she has completely deleted the Fitbit from her app and then the app from her phone but I am still, months later, getting her text and call notifications, mine have never shown up. I am able to sync to my phone/app for my steps and activities but cannot get text/call notifications from my phone, only hers. How do we fix this problem? I have deleted the app and redownloaded it, removed the fitbits from it, hard reset, pretty much tried all the troubleshooting options out there. @Rich_Laue @JuanJoFitbit @LiliyaFitbit

The only time you will be able to get her notifications is if her phone is nearby you. This simply means is that she hasn't un-paired the tracker from her phones Bluetooth. Once she has removed the Blaze from her list of trusted Bluetooth devices we can look into getting your texts @NicZen

Thank you, @Rich_Laue ! We removed the Blaze from her list of paired devices and I am no longer getting her texts. I removed the Blaze from my app and went through the set up again but I am not getting text notifications. What should I do next?

@LiliyaFitbit Thank you for the info. I have gone through all the steps in the troubleshooting guide one by one and it is still not showing my messages. Any other tips?

Now that we are back to notification issues on your phone, may I ask what model phone you are have issues with?

It is a Samsung Galaxy Note 9. I do have 2 fitbits linked to it, so I am not sure if this is affecting it at all. My Ionic does get all of the notifications when I wear it. But currently the Ionic is at home and I am at work with the Blaze, so I don't think my phone is sending the notifications to the Ionic.

Through experimentation that a few of the council members we have concluded that the app, with android, has a pecking order in what tracker to send notifications to.. Our experimentation confirms that even when the app can not communicate with the ionic the app will not send notifications to the Blaze.
So yes the issue may be that the ionic is connected to your account. Could you confirm, test, or deny @LiliyaFitbit?

Well I have turned off the notifications for the Ionic. Turned off the bluetooth and back on. Re-sync the Blaze. And so on, but still nothing. I give up. Thank you all for your help!

Thank you for your replies @NicZen and @Rich_Laue.
@NicZen thank you for sharing the additional details and your efforts to resolve the issue. As @Rich_Laue mentioned, having two devices paired to your Fitbit account could cause difficulties with receiving notifications. I recommend doing the following:
1. Tell your phone to "forget" your Fitbit Ionic to remove the connection between the phone and this device: On your phone, go to Settings > Bluetooth and find your Fitbit Ionic in the list.
2. Find an option to forget the device.
3. Confirm that a notification setting on Blaze is on: hold the top right button for 3 seconds.
4. Open the Fitbit app and set up notifications again for the Fitbit Blaze.
@Rich_Laue thank you for your help!
Please keep me posted.

@LiliyaFitbit I have done as you suggested and removed the Ionic from my bluetooth. I have gone back in and re-setup the Blaze, but I am still not receiving notifications. At this point I am no longer going to mess with it. If this is the trouble I have to go through every time I want to wear a different device, it is not worth it. I will just deal with no notifications on my Blaze. I do appreciate your's and @Rich_Laue 's help in the matter and I know you do not control how the devices work. Thank you both for your time.
