I emailed Fitbit support about this, but I still feel it needs to be said. You guys need to improve music control compatibility with bluetooth headsets. With the creation of USB-C, and Apple getting rid of the headphone jack, and some companies soon-to-follow/already following suit, bluetooth headphones will become ever-more popular. I don't have a headphone jack... I have $400 bluetooth headphones that I can't control with my Blaze, and that's a little ridiculous. You might think it's ridiculous for me to spend that much on headphones, but as an audiophile, that's a pretty low price for high quality headphones, and considering I use the bluetooth function 98% of the time, and my watch has a music control function, I should be able to use them in conjunction with each other, if my car can have multiple devices connected to it, and even bluetooth speakers can connect to EACH OTHER (UE for example), or have multiple (up to 10) devices connected to them, why can't my watch have a PHONE, and ONE pair of bluetooth headphones connected to it? Doesn't make any sense, and considering the Blaze is the NEWER of the smartwatch/smart fitness watch models, it should have the technology inside of it to do this no? I don't know, maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think I am, and I'm kind of upset that one of the main selling points of Fitbit is the music control feature, and a bluetooth watch, isn't compatible with a bluetooth headset, even though they don't pair to EACH OTHER. T_T Also, the fact that the Music Control setup page (Don't know if they've updated it since I emailed them, but I have proof it wasn't updated as of about a month ago), never said when I ordered my Fitbit, that it wouldn't be compatible with Bluetooth headphones. All that support gave me to compensate for this, was free premium, and apparently I already had it activated on my account when they were about to give it to me, so they didn't give me anything really. This is a MAJOR ISSUE, and it NEEDS TO BE FIXED.

Thanks for stopping by @kutzki! I truly appreciate your comments and feedback about connecting Fitbit Blaze with your headphones, I totally understand that this could be a great addition if it would be a existing feature.
However, there will be a inconsistency with the notifications you will receive if you could have both devices connected to use music control. You can learn more about it by checking Is the Fitbit app for Android interfering with other Bluetooth devices?.
Once again, I appreciate your understanding.

Just out of curiosity, why do you need the headphones connected to the Blaze ? If they are connected to your phone, you should be able to use them for music control.
I have 2 different pairs of Bluetooth headphones, an iPhone 7+ and a FitBit Blaze and have no issues controlling music on either of them with the Blaze.
On Android at least, using Bluetooth Classic, the Blaze's music control will not connect when using BT headphones. Works fine with wired headphones.

Thanks for the explanation, it wasn't clear to me in the OP's post he was using Android, he did mention the iPhone missing headphone jack.
Best AnswerIm on android and use the Blaze to control my muc while having Bluetooth speakers/headphones connected. Only one unit gives me problems, and through its settings i turned of its input control. It works now.
The OP mentions USB-C which is a type of wired connection, and has nothing to do with Bluetooth.
Best AnswerI see Fitbit has headphones for New Ionic, will it work with the blaze? If not will they develop some for the blaze ?
Best AnswerI think you should add in the settings in Fitbit Blaze Bluetooth because it makes so much easier to connect your Bluetooth headphones to your Fitbit than having to get in your phone get in settings connect to earbuds and turn off your phone and put it back but it’s easier to connect your Bluetooth headphones from your Fitbit and it’s pretty cool

Best AnswerThe Blaze doesn't have the ability to store or play music. At best if headphones where connected you would only be able to get audio ports during a walk.
Best AnswerI had issues with the same thing when I first got my blaze this past Christmas. What I learned was that if you connect the headphones first, then go to the music controls on the blaze, it will not connect. If you go to the music controls first, then connect the headphones, it works just fine. Not a perfect solution, but it does work.
Best AnswerI'm not sure what you mean by connect headphones from your Fitbit.
Do you want to connect headphones to your Fitbit so the music is coming from the tracker? The ionic has this ability, the other tracker a do not have enough memory or the hardware to do this.
Best AnswerYeah, you can listen to Bluetooth headphones with your phone and control it with blaze .like the other user posted, go to the Bluetooth connected devices on your phone and disconnect everything. Then, connect to the Bluetooth on your blaze, from your phone. Once that's paired and you can test this by controlling audio on your phone from your fitbit(coming from the phone speakers), then pair/connect your Bluetooth headphones .It's a connection order thing.
You sir are my hero. I was about to stomp my blaze after upgrading my cell. My old cell didn't care.
