Watch Face will not update

Since my app updated about 2 hours ago, the watch face will not update.  I've reset my phone twice.  I've reset the Fitbit many times.  I deleted and reconnected with my Fitbit (which was a terrible, glitchy process).  I put it in my charger and on and on.  I've tried numerous different faces and synched many times.  No luck.  Any help out there??

Hi @Jjason!

To try a quick fix, try and change your clock face using your dashboard online and  not on the app itself:

https://www.fitbit.com/settings/device

Then, Sync the way you normally do!

To address the problem with your app, I would suggest contacting Fitbit support via Chat and explain the problem to them while at the same time explaining the steps in which you used to troubleshoot the problem.

Happy stepping!

A warm welcome to the Community @Jjason and @RunningFreak thanks for stopping by.

Have you verified if your tracker is syncing properly? If you haven't, I recommend following the instructions provided in the Having trouble syncing? post. If after these steps you still having inconveniences with your time, I suggest changing your timezone to a complete different one, sync your tracker, put the correct time and sync again.

Let me know the outcome. Woman Happy

Thanks for the suggestions.  First off, I don't have Fitbit on any computer, just the app and my watch.   I use a Chromebook and I haven't seen anything for that type of laptop.

As for everything else, nothing has worked.  I've restarted everything numerous times in different sequences.  Resynched a million times (the steps and data will sync, but not the watch face or my preferred exercises - which now show a bunch of exercises I don't do and deleted all the ones I actually use).   I uninstalled the app, but the problem stayed.  I changed time zones and then brought it back, but no luck.  Again, steps will sync, but the watch face simply will not change.

All this happened after a Fitbit update 2 or 3 days ago to "fix bugs".  Ugh.  I'll contact support today.  Thanks for the tips though!

Hi gang, after contacting Fitbit and running some tests, the watch would
never update, and so they are sending me a replacement. Thanks for all the
tips and suggestions though!
