Weirdness in the sleep data browser

Hi all.

Basis Peak refugee here. Had my Blaze for a few days now & liking it a lot! Certainly very comfortable and the various smarts are pretty cool. Given the bugs discussed in this forum, I'm guessing many were reported on older firmware. I seem to be lucky enough to have started on 17.8.200.3. 🙂

Anyway, I've seen some weirdness in the sleep result browser:

1) not actually in the browser, but my first night sleep seemed to start at 12:51am though I started around 11:30pm.
2) so, into the sleep result browser, I notice that I can edit the sleep session, so I put the start time back to 11:30pm. the blaze tells me I can't since "there is already a sleep session there". Apparently it thinks I'm creating a new session rather than extending an existing one. Can't see any sign of another session from 11:30-12:51.
3) so i return to the sleep session list and then that first nights session is gone completely! Was there a prompt on returning to the list asking me to remove it or something?

Thankfully, the second night, which I still have the data for, was basically spot on. 🙂

Hello @StuMelb welcome aboard to our Community and thank you for provide all the details of the issues was presenting your Blaze.  Autodetection is based on your movement so if your tracker were sensing any small movement before you sleep, it might take a while to start recording your sleep. When you haven't moved in over an hour, algorithms assume that sleep has begun, which is then confirmed by the length of time your movements only indicate sleep behavior (rolling over, etc).

It's possible you get this message if you are trying to enter a new log over the existing one as you said, but to update the time it should not give you this error. I wonder where you try to do this, it was through the mobile app or the Web-based Dashboard?

If you try to delete a sleep log from the computer it wont prompt any message to confirm the deletion, different from the mobile app that you need to confirm the selection. If your sleep session was not correct or is not longer there you add it again. As long you wear your tracker during the night this information will remain so you can easily enter again your sleep time to recover the information or modify the time.

If you need additional information please follow the steps from @SilviaFitbit to log a sleep session in case you need the steps.

See you around and let me know if you need more help.
