What is the width of the Fitbit Blaze wristband?

What's the width of the wristband on the Fitbit Blaze?  I'm getting an XL but being a big guy I'm pretty sure I need to get a wristband extender and want to see if one that's already known to work on the Surge will work on the Blaze.

I just measured mine and it's about 24mm wide.

Have you found a wristband extender? My husbands wrist is 9in so he is hard to buy for. He'd like a Blaze but I was told the current wristbands only go to 8.1in.
