What's App on Blaze

Hi all,

 

Hope you can help. I've read the guides and looked on search but can't see any recent replies that help my specific problem. I'm trying to add what's app to my Blaze. I've tried the drop down section of the notification settings however it lists many apps but not What's App e.g. facebook messenger, instagram etc. I checked my notification settings on my phone and What's App is set to banner, so in theory it should be showing up. Anyone tried something that has worked in the past?

Hi there @Lyricallie. Great to see you in the Community Forums! 🙂

I can help you with this. In order for you to be able to choose to receive notifications from an app, you need to receive a first notification on your phone from that app and after you've received one, you should be able to find it in the list for notifications.

If that doesn't work, after you've received the first notification, force quit the Fitbit app and open it again, from the dashboard tap on the icon if your Blaze at the top, then scroll down to Notifications and in the third party notifications, you should find whatsapp.

Hi,

 

pls guide me how to setup whatapps notifications in iPhone 8. I’m new to blaze.

i don’t seems to have any notifications app.

Hey there @elerty. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂

The iPhone 8 does not appear yet in the list of compatible devices, so I'm not sure if this will have anything to do. But, in the meantime, make sure that after you've set up your tracker and it's syncing, you receive one whatsapp notification.

Once this has happened, go into the Fitbit app, tap on the icon of your Blaze and in the Settings page for your tracker, go down to Notifications. Here, tap on the App notifications section and you should find the option for enabling whatsapp notifications. The same process will apply for any other app that you can receive notifications from.
