Wheelchair Use & FitBit Response

I am a paralyzed but athletic man who would like my data tracked and calculated more accurately.  The Apple watch has a wheelchair setting, but I HATE Apple.  Here is an email from FitBit on it is not designed for people like me:

"While these trackers may be able to represent some level of activity from operating a wheelchair, the estimated distance traveled, calorie burn, and overall wellness benefit has not been designed to account for this type of use, and could lead to an inaccurate representation of a person’s activity levels."

Its not going to be accurate. Plain and simple. But I have friends that do many things to add steps and are successful. I have a friend that does walk away the pounds. He is in a wheel chair but still moves

It might not be as accurate,  as per Fitbit. They really don't say, there response is we did not design it for this use, so we don't know.

My thought, it may or may not be accurate, but the accuracy will be consistent or inconsistent the same way from day to day. Knowing this will give you a relativereading of how active from day to day.

I did a quick search of the feature request site and see your not the only one. I suggest adding your vote.
