I purchased the Blaze for my husband as a Christmas present. He enjoyed it for four or five months before he noticed the screen was cracked. He contacted Fitbit and received the standard 25% discount on another product answer. I see on the forum that someone mentioned the screen protectors, will these protect the screen from further deterioration? From the product offerings it appears that the Blaze is no longer available?

I am sorry to hear about what happened to your husband's Blaze but it's great to hear that he received a discount. If you are interested in using that discount, in this page you will be able to compare all the Fitbit products, maybe there is one that meet his needs.
Now regarding your inquiry, he can use a protector for the Blaze but since they are not Fitbit products, keep in mind that we don't cover them. Also, since we're always working to streamline our offerings as we introduce new products. Although it has been a very popular product for us, we’ve decided to discontinue selling Blaze on fitbit.com.

I've had a screen protector on my blaze for over a year now and it works perfectly. Actually, my blaze has never been worn without a protector on it. I purchased mine from Amazon and you can hardly tell it's on it.
