Out of the blue, my Fitbit, which had been working fine, reset itself to "0". I want/need my last 3 years of info/data/"friends". How do I get that all back???

You may be signed in with the wrong email & fitbit password on that device @Cincyred15.  You can't "erase" your data, it is always accumulating in the database for your email fitbit login and password. It takes a special call and verified request to fitbit to erase it.  Sign out on the device and sign back in with the registered email and fitbit password, historic data should pop right back.

Keep moving, welcome to forums.
