Workout Paused/Ends unexpectedly

I played ice hockey several times a week. My chest band heart monitor works wonderful. I had hoped the Blaze would do the same, if not more. However my hockey glove frequently touches the screen of the Blaze and either pauses or ends the workout. Very frustrating. Most of the guys on my team were interested in purchasing this device. However, they are not interested now since the device this discontinues to monitor and record basic information such as heart rate, calories burned and duration of workout. They and I hope Fitbit will fix this problem so that the device can be more efficient with monitoring and recording the basic info. Meanwhile, are there any suggestions or ideas to prevent the device from inadvertently pausing or discontinuing the workout monitoring?
