I have a Fitbit Blaze. The last two workouts I have done haven't synced correctly, the workouts before yesterday were correct. Yesterday I ran 2 miles for 22:33 mins and burned 389 cals. And this shows up on my dashboard online. However, when I check the app or even my activities list it says I was on the Treadmill for :02 mins and burned 0 cals. Well today it did it again I ran for 3.19 miles, 32 mins, and burned 569 cals. The app says 32:01 mins, 1.24 miles, and burned 210 calories. Im not sure if this is affecting my step and miles total for the day. Wondering if anyone else is having this problem??

My Apple app doesn't have anywhere to update stride length in settings. What app are you using?
Nevermind figured it out!

Click on the settings icon on the top right, then click settings and go down to where it has your height and stride length and running stride length.
You have to log into the website to do it. Go to dashboard and follow the instructions above. Remember longer strides means more miles, so if its tracking shorter than the treadmill then lengthen your stride. Hope this helps..

I'm experiencing this exact issue over the last 2 days (tracking correctly on the Blaze itself, adding it correctly to daily totals, but turning treadmill runs that are over 4 miles to .02 miles, etc). Also shows up incorrectly on the dashboard online, but when you click INTO it, the data reflects correctly. Really hoping for fitbit to come up with a solution here.

This is still a problem with the app (not the online dashboard) as of today, 1:40pm EST.
I am not referring to an issue with stride length, but the app reporting significantly underestimated figures (e.g., 0.2 miles and 1cal/min) instead of the correct distance covered and burned calories estimated.
Again, the Blaze itself is working, the online dashboard is working, but the app is displaying the wrong figures.

Having the same problem! App and activity list is wrong but dashboard is correct...very frustrating!

Yes, it looks like they fixed the pre-set exercise list issue with the latest udpate, and others have noted adjusting stride length. Unfortunately the recognized exercise counts are all kinds of whack only on the app.

Fitbit moderators appear to view these threads pretty regularly, so hopefully the communication to the app team in this case will resolve the issue. They were quick on the exercise shortcuts disappearing...

I'm having the same issue. Treadmill run yesterday and today at 1200 central time did not log correctly. I just downloaded the update and nothing changed. Hopefully future work outs will work. I feel like its a good thing that I'm not the only one with this issue. I thought my 200$ device was broken, but it seems like a software glitch that an update can fix.... I sure would like to hear from fitbit on this...

Nope, not fixed.. I just ran 2 miles tracking on treadmill under exercise and it says I ran .04 miles. It shows the correct time at 30 min, but shows -- for pace. But, the dashboard on my computer show the correct info. This is so freaking annoying!!

Oh, joy.
The other thing I noticed is that auto-recognized exercises track just fine on the app. It's when you select an exercise before starting that will not track the correct time, cals, etc. (all on the app) correctly. The online dashboard and Blaze still work just fine.
C'mon app people!
Editing this post to say that I performed my own cross-over study earlier today: For a run on the treadmill, I did not pre-select "treadmill" in the list of exercises, and it tracked correctly on the app. I switched to an elliptical, selected "elliptical," and the counts did not show up correctly on the app.

I've had the same problem for the last 3 days. My Blaze showed 47:20 workout/354 calories burned but the app only shows only 8:00/33 calories burned.

Finally!! Mine is fixed 🙂 I just logged onto my app and its now matched with what my dashboard says! Hope everyone elses is doing the same!
