FitBit Blaze says it's connected to my iPhone and "let's go!". Very disappointing when you finally rider further than you ever have and worked hard at it only to discover the FitBit recorded nothing but the amount of time it took for you to start and finish.
What's up with this and how do I make sure it doesn't happen? One thing I'm wondering, is it because I didn't have my FitBit app open on the screen? It was working in the background but not literally open. Has happened several times

When it says "lets go", you do click the green arrow to start tracking, right?

yes. I'm going to test to see if I have to have the Fitbit app open when I start versus running in the background. I didn't have a problem with my iPhone 6 but I do with the iPhone X
