i was bored while it charged off a 2.1amp capable charger, so i stuck my usb doctor on and i see its only using 0.21amps. most modern devices are capable of atleast an amp. why isnt this one designed to pull more amps and charge faster? i asked the support person on chat while i was discussing the short battery life (36hrs) and all she said was the charger needs to supply 5volts. she didnt seem to understand the importance of current in charge speeds.
im hoping its a software limitation and can be updated in future firmwares. but until then ill be on the lookout for a charger i can carry with me incase it dies on the go and i dont have time to hang out at home and let it charge for an hour or two
