Because data reports for sleep on the app is either non existent or appears on some days but not others. On the Fitbit dashboard it says *error*

So what exactly is the function of the sleep tracking tool?

@SunsetRunnerSome of us are having success by deleting the "old style" log and then adding it back again.. Try that and let us know, because we are trying to establish the parameters as to why ?

In one case for me I examined the phone and it synced inside the 3 hours for tracking sleep and then remained as the "old style".  Again deleting the log and recreating it fixed that issue

It's great to see you here @SunsetRunner. For more information about sleep stages, I recommend taking a look at this post, where our friend @FerdinandFitbit is providing information about it. Now, could you please provide me with a screenshot of the error you are receiving?

Hope to hear from you soon. Woman Happy

The first screenshot is from my Android and it at least shows both a graph
and some data below the graph.

Second screenshot is from Macbook Air and only see a small "error" message

Third screenshot is from Ipad which only shows a graph.

The web page error looks like a simple breakdown of communication between you and Fitbit, I suggest a refresh of the s reel if you haven't tries.

The app shows sleep every night, and tapping in a day will bring up a detail graph of the day.

With the exception of the Android I cannot "tap in a day" and see any detail. In the case of the Ipad and the Macbook Air there is no day to tap.

An error in communication between me and Fitbit? I'm not clear what you mean by this. I have refreshed and signed out and signed back in and this is the page I get when I try to look at sleep data.
