Is there a way to slow down the pace of breathing in the Relax App? I find the pace slightly too fast, almost the opposite of relaxing.

Hi, @Iwonone, yes, I have exactly that problem, and there is no way to adjust.  I am afraid I simply gave up the Relax feature for that reason, although I loved the idea.

I am sorry not to be more help.

One of the main reasons I just bought the Charge 3 was for the Relax feature. It’s not relaxing at all. It’s very disappointing. My heart rate was actually up in the fat burning zone at the end of the 2-minute session, from resting heart rate prior to starting. Hmmm.

1) Inhale and exhale times are way too fast, as poster said.

2) The buzzer sound in between inhale/exhale is really annoying. I wish I could switch to just vibration.

Sorry, Fitbit, but if I don’t find other aspects of this watch that I really love in the next couple of weeks, I’m sending the Charge 3 back.

I agree, the pace should be suggestive only.  It doesn't really seem to "sense" your breathing.  The vibration seems like a punishment.  It's certainly not relaxing.  I'll stick to Headspace, Insight Timer, and WeCroak for my meditation.

I agree, the faster pace stresses me. generally slower breathing patterns (particularly extending the exhale ) are associated with activating the parasympathetic nervous system. Odd choice here, doesn’t seem based on science
