Hi everyone, and a warm welcome to our new members. @jebcoeninty Thanks for your help!
@AHansell17, @irismac and @Katiekat1964 Thanks for the details and efforts while working on this matter. I understand how you're feeling and in case you haven't done so, please open the Settings app on your Charge 4, tap Brightness and try adjusting the brightness level. Additionally, press and hold the button, swipe left to access the quick settings screen and make sure the Sleep Mode is turned off. That way the screen's brightness isn't set to dim. Let me know how it goes.
@taffnjanner Thanks for taking the time to troubleshoot your Charge 4 prior to posting. I'm sorry for this inconvenience and because the screen is still dim, I'd recommend getting in touch with our Support team so they can evaluate your options and bring you back on track. Click here to get connected with them via chat or phone, and make sure to share the steps that you've tried with them.

Mine is so dark I can’t read the screen to see anything? How can I change things if I can’t see it on my Charge 4?

Welcome on board, @Bigmamasued.
Thanks for joining this thread and I'm sorry your Charge 4 is having the same behavior. Because you're not able to read the screen, I went ahead to review your details and I noticed you already have a case created. Our Support team seems to be helping you with this matter, please keep the communication with them as I'm sure they'll do their best to bring you back on track.
Have a good day.

Im having the same issue. It's deffinatly no a dim setting issue. Done the whole changed brightness setting from dim to normal. Changed the watch face to save battery... Ive rebooted the device 4 times. Contacted support and all I got was reboot your device and change the clock face then they have the nerve to say I haven't rebooted my device. I've had this fitbit for just a year and it's screen is suffering from pixel wear. This should be under warranty but you know support team dont really care so im left to read through the forums
