I was working at my laptop this AM and got my notification that I had only walked 100 steps with 10 mins to go to the top of the hour. Great reminder to get up and move ... I walked around for a few mins and got the familiar notification that I had walked 250 steps of 250 target. It wasn't immediate but after a few more steps I was back at my laptop. A little while later I checked the bar graph and I had missed my 250 step target? Bar graph said 242 steps for that bucket of time and was already recording for the next hour so I know it wasn't a sync issue? Why would my Charge 5 record 250+ steps (from experience I was thinking it was going to be 275 to 300 steps) and my synced iPhone app say 242? All devices are upgraded to current versions? Any ideas?

Hello @FCD
I'm not sure why Fitbit devices will track 250 steps for the Hourly Goal, yet when synced with the Fitbit app, the goal was missed. Like you, I've experienced this. Now, I've gotten into the habit of walking additional steps and double checking in the app to ensure the goal was met.

@RiekoC thank you for your response...I usually double check too but just didn't that time. I'll log feedback! Have a great day!
