You say there is an update to the app yet when i go to the play store, it indicates it's already downloaded. I opened it and it took me right back to the forum where i started. What's up with that?

Hello & welcome @Jayess99 

There's a good chance that your phone/tablet has already updated the app, especially if you have automatic updates turned on for your apps. 

To check:

  • From the Today page in the Fitbit app, tap your picture/icon in the upper left to open the Account page
  • Swipe up & tap on Help & Support under Settings
  • You see the app version information at the top of the page
