It seems to me it should have gone down by now with weight loss.  Am I supposed to recalculate it and enter manually?

Hello @seapiatone and welcome to the Community.  I apologize if I am misreading your question.  You posted this in the Charge 5 forum, but the Charge 5 doesn't show weight as part of the Today stats.  Are you asking about weight on the mobile app?  Are you using a Fitbit scale or another scale that syncs with the Fitbit app?

Hi @LZeeW !  Thank you for your response!  I see what you mean and believe I was thinking the issue was with the device itself, buy my issue is more with the mobile app and the weight tracker.  I don't have a smart scale but just entering the weight manually.  Do you have any suggestions?

@seapiatone   I use a Fitbit Aria 2 scale, which shows BMI on the scale and transfers it to the mobile app.  The mobile app has several graphs in the weight section.  I have four graphs accessible by swiping: Weight Trends, Lean vs Fat, Body Fat % and Current BMI.  You might or might not have all four graphs.

  • Tap on your weight tile
  • Swipe to the left to see your available graphs
  • Does you app show a BMI graph?
  • Make sure your height is correct in you personal information

I did a little test.  I was out of town a while ago.  I manually entered a weight and logged for a day when I wasn't home.  I intentionally entered an incorrect weight.  My BMI graph showed the calculated BMI for that weight on that day.

I also want to add that the Fitbit Aria 2 (which measure body fat percent) is discontinued.  Fitbit calls the Aria Air a smart scale.  I don't consider it a smart scale.  It reports weight and BMI.  There are other brands of smart scales that will sync with the Fitbit app.
