Battery Charge stuck at 99%

When I charged for the first initial time, my Fitbit stuck at 99% for a very long time and did not reach 100%. I’ve worn it all day and it still says 99% which is odd because I would expect the battery to have depleted. I wasn’t using onboard GPS or anything. But still I feel like there is a glitch. Is anyone else experiencing this?

As an update, I just restarted my Charge 5 and I’m still stuck with the 99%. I will follow up tomorrow. To make a note, it did show an increase in battery up to 99% out of the box.

Just talked to tech. They said they had not heard of this problem I’m having. After one restart the battery went to 99%. Then did another reset 10 minutes later and the battery read 100%. I had not charged it in the interim.

I had the same problem at initial setup.  I wore it a few hours and recharged it at it went to 100%.  Likely just a software glitch and it really was at 100%
