Blank screen Charge 5

The screen on my Charge 5 is blank except for 5 squares at the top of the screen, one of which is lit up. It is totally unresponsive. I have tried to factory reset and nothing happens.

I have exactly the same problem. Started about 5 days ago. Hopefully Fibit support is monitoring this site and will be advising what we should do.

Just talked to Fitbit support. A hard reset was able to fix the problem.

  • To do the restart, please connect your device to the charging cable. Press the button located on the flat end of the charger 3 times, pausing for 1 second between presses. Then wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.

I tried the hard reset several times and it didn’t work. Fitbit have agreed to send me a new one under the warranty, Hopefully won’t happen again !
