Hi, thanks for the information provided regarding the issue with your Charge 5 and for confirming that you already tried a few steps, @Petero1.
In this case, since you already contacted the Customer Support team for further assistance with this, I do recommend that you continue the communication with them so they can let you know the options available for you.
Keep in mind they'll need to make sure that all troubleshooting options have been exhausted, but I'm sure they'll let you know how to proceed.

Did all the troubleshooting but nothing new via customer support the latest is Fitbit offer no repair of products only advice
look for another Fitbit in the offers.
As if I would want another Fitbit, I have a Sense but thats for sale need a company that works towards resolving
problems not expect you to just go buy another one.

Same here. I had a blank screen and now when I charge it and take it off charger the battery drops to 1 percent. This happened to me back in august 2022 and they sent me a replacement. It hasn’t even been a year and it has happened again. Support only offered a 35 percent off coupon… like I would spend money on a product that keeps on breaking… I have decided that I’m going to get an Apple Watch now. They just lost a Fitbit customer that has been with them for over 6 years.

Spent over a week communicating with customer service in the end they admitted they dont repair or service
Fitbits, think there made so cheaply they just throw them away.
Definatley not impressed with Fitbit as a company they have no customer service and if you research the complaints
think they have more unhappy customers then happy ones.
No anybody who wants a Sense.

I can't offer up a solution, but I can add my voice and my current experience for the same issue with my charger 5.
Just happened to me last night. Nothing unusual took place prior to that. I did go swimming for 1/2 hour, but had the fitbit on "lock" and have done this multiple times before without any issue.
Everything else works-and it's syncing with my phone fine
Have tried all the suggestions I could find without luck.
Which included- pressing the button on the cable three times with a second between each (did that multiple times after trying each of the other "fixes"),
removed the app from phone and reinstalled
changed the clock face
downloaded latest upgrade (had been avoiding doing so - as I read it some people were experiencing a high rate of battery drainage)
The only thing I did NOT try was unpairing the charger from the app, because if that doesn't work- then I lose everything- not just the screen (if I can't see the screen- I can't input the new code)
Coincidentally - it just went out of the one year official warranty literally the day before that on March 22 )!!
(Although I didn't actually start using the watch until the 23 rd- once I received it in the mail and set it up)
About to contact customer service- hoping for a better outcome than what I 've read from others, but not holding my breath.
If I don't get a satisfactory outcome (either fixed or adequately replaced), I plan to change brands.

Hello Sdfraser8
There are many people in the same position, you might be lucky and get a replacement as its just out of
warranty.
If I had read all the complaints on the Fitbit community and reviews on Trustpilot I would not have bought either
of my Fitbits the one saving grace is I didnt pay anywhere near the suggested retail price but it is still annoying
that Fitbit customer service dont care all they can suggest is exactley what you have done if it doesnt work nothing
they can do go buy another as if.
Even had one of my posts removed because it told the truth about Customer Service admitting they dont or cant
service or repair any Fitbit, made in China for peanuts and sold at at high prices and dont resolve any problems.
Good luck sorting your Fitbit just keep at them.

Thanks Peter o1. I was resigning myself to looking at other brands for a replacement, when this morning - Sunday - 8 a.m. my display suddenly came back on (lost it Thursday evening)..yeah!!!
Nothing to do with customer help though!
The only thing that I can relate it too is that my battery had depleted to 12% overnight- which is extremely rare for me( I blame recent update- unrelated to blank screen). As I plugged it in to recharge - the display came back on 😁 Display definitely wasn't working prior to plugging in.
No idea if it is just a coincidence - but prehaps draining the battery somehow reset it ...and it might help you to try doing it deliberately?🤞
I had continued wearing the watch and looking at the data through the app. since Thursday and recharging multiple times and occasionally repeating the " press button three times" without any better results.
I did made initial contact with customer service on Friday, they had no better suggestions to offer ( as you pointed out), told to expect follow up in 24 hrs - which hasn't happened yet.
Hope this is helpful.
Now I need to go figure out how to reverse the latest update as it definitely has impacted my battery drainage!! 🤦🏻:female_sign:

Thats good news Sdfraser8 have read various other postings about the downloads causing problems,
fingers crossed it has corrected whatever was wrong.
Unfortunatley my Charger 5 is still dead but will keep pestering Fitbit to try and get some better assistance
so far they just appologies for the problem and say it will be reported back not sure who too but nothing
seems to improve.
