Both Charge 5s Quit Syncing...Help!

Both my wife's and my Charge 5s (1 week old) quit syncing with our Androids and computers at approximately the same time this afternoon. We have taken all the suggested fix steps to NO avail. Has anyone else had this problem today? Any suggested remedies? Both were running fine until they independently stopped...advice appreciated.

I use an Android phone and a Charge 5 and mine quit working as well. Others using Android are having the same problem, all since they switched to Gmail. I called tech support and they told me it may take 24 hours to resolve the issue.

My friend who has an older Fitbit and uses an Apple phone and Gmail account isn't having this issue. It's sad when a device using a Gmail account works fine on an Apple phone but won't work on an Android.

Update: Some have reported it will work on a cellular connection so I tried it and it worked. It still doesn't work on Wi-Fi at the time I updated this however.
