I have been pretty active today. Including one hour at the gym. Yet, it didn’t record exercise (although I selected these manually) nor zone minutes for the whole day. Anything I can do to fix this?

You do have 7 zone minutes.  They depend on reaching a certain heart rate.  Tap on the Zone Minutes circle to see the required heart rate needed to get Zone Minutes.

I don't understand what you mean by "I selected these (exercises) manually"; can you elaborate - where/how selected?

The iPhone app shows 7 zone minutes. However the Fitbit dashboard on PC shows 67 actives minutes and all the exercises I did at the gym (weight, spinning). I always select exercise manually in the exercise shortcut.

So the tracker is fine and the dashboard is correct. but the Fitbit app doesn't sync the info correctly.

I tried turning Bluetooth off, logging out of the app, restarting the iPhone, restarting the tracker, forgetting and adding the tracker, deleting and reinstalling the app. Nothing worked.

Fitbit.com dashboard shows Active Minutes.  When you say you selected them manually, apparently you meant you were using the Exercise App.  Anything you record using the Exercise App counts as Active Minutes, which are shown on the Fitbit.com dashboard.  These also show as exercise sessions on your phone app.  Up until a few years ago, these were also shown on the phone app.  But then, in Fitbit changed from Active Minutes to (Active) Zone Minutes, which are based exclusively on heart rate, and are generally harder to earn.  The fitbit.com dashboard was never updated to reflect this change.

You can read more about this difference here:

What are Active Zone Minutes or active minutes on my Fitbit device?

So the Fitbit app does show the synced data correctly but it is showing Zone Minutes, whereas the fitbit.com Dashboard is showing Active Minutes, which are different things.

Thank you. That is very helpful! After checking, it turned out that the charge 5 wasn’t recording heart rate accurately on that day, which affected the zone minute score. No idea what went wrong with the he sensor, maybe it was just dirty. Everything is fine since then.
